| Nam • Twara Desai (Twaraa Desai) is an Indian actress and model who has made appearances on television serials, various commercials and films. She was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Twara gained recognition after essaying the role of Lalita in the serial Hindi serial Meera, which aired on NDTV Imagine in the year 2009. She played Meerabai’s childhood pal in the serial. Later her role was replaced in Meerabai. Garnering limelight from the serial, Twara then ventured into films and embarked on her acting journey in Kollywood (Tamil film industry), debuting with the film Saivam (2014).
