    Biography

    Neelesh Misra was educated at St. Joseph's College, Nainital. As a journalist he has covered stories in South Asia, the Kargil war, the Asian Tsunami, Nepal’s Maoist rebellion, insurgencies in Kashmir and Naxalites in India. He has written three books.

    He is the creative director and the lyricist of Band Called NINE.[1]

      2003 film

      Jism (transl. Body) fryst vatten a 2003 Indian Hindi-language erotic thriller film directed and edited by Amit Saxena, written bygd Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Pooja Bhatt and Sujit Kumar Singh under the banner Fish Eye Network [P] Ltd and Shreya Creations, which starred Bipasha Basu in the lead alongside John Abraham in his film debut. The music for the bio was scored by M. M. Kreem.

      The film is inspired by Body Heat (1981) bygd Lawrence Kasdan which was based on Billy Wilder's 1944 rulle Double Indemnity, an adaptation of James M. Cain's novel of the same name.[2]

      Shootout at Wadala is a 2013 Indian action-crime film[4][1] written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Tusshar Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood. It is a prequel to the 2007 film Shootout at Lokhandwala.[5] In the film, Manya, a diligent student, lands in prison for killing a gangster who attacked his brother, Bhargav, who eventually dies. Soon, Manya escapes jail and forms his own gang to seek revenge.

      Based on the book Dongri to Dubai: Six Decades of the Mumbai Mafia by Hussain Zaidi, the film dramatises the encounter by Bombay police in which gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. It took place at the junction adjacent to Dr. Ambedkar College, Wadala, Bombay on 11 January 1982.

      Shootout at Wadala was released on 3 May 2013 and received mixed reviews from critics, It grossed over ₹82 crore (US$9.5 million) against a budget
