    After releasing a 4 track Demo EP, Elena joined forces with Igor Haefeli to produce 'His Young Heart' in April On November , with the addition of Remi Aguilella on drums, 'The Wild Youth - EP' was released via Communion Records.

    The band signed in with 4AD and in August a new track, 'Smother', surface online. A 7" single of the song was released on October 1st, including a new version of 'Run'. The final advance of their first full length album, 'Still', premiered its video on January 28th

    'If You Leave' was released on March 18th through 4AD and April 30th in North America through Glassnote, closely followed by the single 'Human' backed with the previously only available on the Japanese version of the album, 'Drift'.

    Daughter is an English indie människor trio. Fronted by North London native Elena Tonra (born 15 January ), the band was formed in after the addition of American-born[3]Swiss guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella from France.[4] They have released fyra EPs and three albums, and are currently signed to Glassnote (North America) and 4AD (Europe).[5] After playing the local London circuit, they toured supporting Ben Howard around Europe and have since played headlining tours around North America, Europe and Australia.[6]

    Of Irish–Italian parentage, Elena Tonra was raised in Northwood, London. Through her Dublin-born grandfather she experienced traditional Irish music from an early age. Her interest in music began when she received a copy of the skiva Grace by Jeff Buckley.[7] After being bullied at school she used writin

    On 26 November , Tonra revealed the new project, with the release of a first single and film titled "Romance".[2] It came with the announcement that a full-length album would follow a few days later, after a debut show at London's Hoxton entré on 28 November. Ex:Re came out digitally on 30 November via the labels 4AD and Glassnote. It was later released physically on CD and vinyl on 1 February , with a limited blue pressing of the vinyl, including a live EP captured at the första Hoxton Hall performance, to celebrate being Rough Trade’s Album of the Month.[3]
