Quantum Leap is Bassett's professional acting debut. Before turning to acting, Bassett spent seven years in U.S. Army Intelligence and the National Security Agency. During that time, she served two combat tours in Afghanistan and a third tour abroad. After her military service, Bassett studied law while also attending theater classes. She was accepted full time at the Stella Adler Conservatory after being asked to audition and trained with Bob Krakower. Caitlin Bassett (born 23 May ) is a former Australian netballer, who played for Giants Netball and the Australia national netball team. Between and Bassett captained Australia in international netball tests.[3]
Career
[edit]Caitlin played in the West Australian Netball League with Demons.[4][5] Bassett played West Coast Fever from to , before joining expansion side Sunshine Coast Lightning at the start of the årstid in the Suncorp Super Netball league. Bassett previously played for the Perth Orioles in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy from to In , she played for one half of a game as a member of the Australian Diamonds team. In Bassett was part of the World Championship winning Australian Diamonds grupp, featuring in the final against New Zealand.
