Paloma - whose Christian name is the Spanish for 'Dove' - was born on May 1st in London. Her parents, an English mother and Mexican father were hippie musicians and, when Paloma was a baby they moved to live in Mexico City, where she stayed until she was nine and the parents separated. She returned to England with her mother, began acting in school plays and read English and Performing Arts at Bristol University. Since then she has appeared on the London stage and in several popular television dramas. She has also directed two short films.

Paloma Baeza (born 1 May ) is a Mexican-British actress and director. Her film Poles Apart won the BAFTA Award for Best Short Animation in [2][3]
Biography
[edit]Baeza was born in London and spent her childhood in Mexico.[4] Her Mexican father and her British mother were musicians who met in the UK.[5] In , when Baeza was five months old, her parents married in London and they went to Mexico City. They divorced nine years later.[citation needed]
She returned to the UK with her mother in , when she was nine. She began taking acting classes and appeared very early in the London theatres and British television productions. She studied English and Performing Arts at the University of Bri

Paloma Baeza fryst vatten best known for starring in the period drama Far from the Madding Crowd (ITV, ) as Bathsheba Everdene, an independent heroine who captures the hearts of three men.
She also featured in The Project (BBC One, ), Rebel Heart (BBC One, ) and The Way We Live Now (BBC One, ) and had parts in Anna Karenina (Channel 4, ) and A Knight in Camelot ().
Her big screen work includes Sunshine () and the independent rulle Sunburn. She has appeared on stage in London, including Navy Pier (, Soho Theatre) and The Flight Into Egypt (, Hampstead Theatre).
Baeza was born in in London, England and grew up in her father's native Mexico. Returning to England at age nine, she began acting at school and went on to study English and Performing Arts at Bristol University.
Baeza has directed two productions: a television film called The Window () and the television drama Watchmen (), co-written with her friend and fellow actor Cillian Murphy.
