Lovemore Madhuku
Born on 20 July in Madhuku village, Lovemore Madhuku completed hisprimary and secondary education in Chipinge. He then completed hisBachelor of Law (Honours) degree in with a first-class pass at theUniversity of Zimbabwe and went on to study for a post graduate Bachelorof Laws (LLB) degree. Awarded a Beit Trust Fellowship to study law atOxford University in the UK, he transferred after a term to study forthe Master of Law (LLM) at the University of Cambridge on a CambridgeCommonwealth Trust Scholarship, completing with a first class in July He then returned to Zimbabwe for an month break, during whichtime he joined the Friedrich Ebert-Stiftung, a German NGO, as a labourlaw consultant while at the same time teaching in the Law Faculty. InJanuary , he returned to the University of Cambridge to study for aPhD, which he successfully completed in December While stillstudying for his PhD, he accepted a permanent lecturership in the LawFaculty at the University of Zimba
