    Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace (10 December 1815 – 27 November 1852), was a British mathematician and poet, known for her work on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine. Her publications include the first algorithm designed to run on the machine, which often gives her the title of the first kvinna programmer. Although the full Analytical Engine was never built, plans to build one were announced in 2011.
